Posted on February 26, 2016 in TPS
TPS has expanded its manufacturing capabilities to the west coast so we can better serve our customer base located in the surrounding areas. With the new facility located in Brea, CA, we can now serve customers better, faster, and with far better efficiency. The new facility will have a 40,000 sf manufacturing shop, state of the art equipment, and a high bay 10-ton crane. The new location allows us to offer more competitive shipping costs for our west coast customers along with a local service team to provide timely service calls.
What Does West Coast Manufacturing Mean for our Customers?
Lower Freight Costs- With a manufacturing site on the west coast, those customers that traditionally had to pay more for freight costs can now benefit from much lower costs.
Reduced Shipping Times- Customers can expect reduced shipping times on parts and equipment. These shorter shipping times can shorten downtime when parts are needed or expedite the completion of a production line with a new piece of equipment.
Reduced Service Costs- With a local service team on site at our West Coast plant, our customer’s service and repair costs can also be expected to drop because travel time and expenses will be much lower.
Expedited service calls with local service staff- The west coast service team will have shorter travel times so they will be able to respond quickly to emergency service calls and minimize equipment downtime for customers in the area.
Local sales support- Our local sales team will be out in the field visiting customers and will be able to schedule onsite customer visits so current and future customers can easily meet the staff and view their equipment during the manufacturing process.
